Al Byron, the lyricist who co-wrote Bobby Vinron's 1962 #1 hit "Roses Are Red (My Love)" with Paul Evans, died Saturday November 29, 2014.
Al also wrote the lyrics for Paul's 1960 top-ten hit "Happy-Go-Lucky-Me" and Elvis Presley's "Something Blue" (both also co-writes with Paul). |
